Not too long ago MAC debuted its own reward program, MAC SELECT. If you are an old time MAC lover or if you’ve been wanting to try something from the brand for a while, don’t hesitate to join the program, it’s free. They’ve already had a ‘buy one lipstick get one free’ and a ‘15% off everything’ offer. Of course, I took advantage of both! Here are the bits and pieces I’ve been collecting.

A product that I’ve been meaning to pick up forever is their Pro Long Wear Paint Pot in Indianwood. A beautiful golden cream eye shadow with a touch of bronze running through it. If you haven’t tried MAC Paint Pots before I highly recommend you do. One of my all time favourite eye products is Groundwork Paint Pot, a beautiful everyday warm medium brown shadow. This formula dries from cream to powder and is incredibly long lasting, so great for summer.

From their new Soft Serve Collection I went for an eye shadow with the texture of ice cream! Put Me to Shame is a gorgeous shimmery almost foiled taupe shadow (it reminds me a lot of By Terry’s Misty Rock). The texture is a mousse to powder concoction. To apply this unusual texture I got the 248 brush. It’s incredibly soft and the recommended tool to apply this type of shadow.

The 219 pencil brush also made its way into my basket. I didn’t have a single pencil brush in my collection so this one was a highly needed item. One can say…

I’ve been meaning to pick up Mehr for the longest time but always ended up purchasing another shade. Maybe because I’m not the biggest fan of their matte lipsticks (unpopular behaviour, I know!). This time, thanks to the ‘buy one lipstick get one free’ offer I finally took the plunge and got it. I’m excited to start wearing it on a daily basis!

I had to pick my free lipstick and as usual I got too excited swatching away and couldn’t choose just one. I basically couldn’t decide between Mocha and Cosmo, so I got both. As you do! 😉 Mocha is a satin medium tone warm brown shade and Cosmo is an amplified medium tone muted rose shade. You see why I needed both now? I just love these deeper nude lipsticks!

Last but not least, I got the limited edition Prep+Prime Transparent Finishing Pressed Powder designed by Chinese artist Chris Chang x MAC. It is a soft white setting powder that is completely invisible on the skin but also mattifying. It gives an air-brushed effect to the face. I really like it so far and the packaging is truly gorgeous!
